Friday 9th and Saturday 10th January 2026

Let Horsham Scouts take away your real Christmas tree from your doorstep for as little as £7!

Let us take all the hassle and aggravation out of cutting up and cramming your tree into the bin or trekking to the tip! We’ll help you get the best start possible to 2026!

Bookings for 2026 are now open!

All of the funds raised will go towards supporting the development and maintenance of Horsham Scouts District Campsite, Beacon Hill! The trees won’t go to waste either as they will be chipped and used on paths around the campsite.

Horsham Scouts annual Christmas Tree Collection would not be possible without the support of the local businesses below and our volunteer team:

FAQ’s

When do you close bookings?

Our bookings close when we reach capacity, or on January 7th 2026, which ever comes first. So don’t delay and miss out as bookings can close at any point, without notice!

I don’t require your services anymore, I’ve disposed of my tree another way.

No worries, just get in touch with the link below letting us know so we don’t come looking and phoning you to ask where your tree is!

It’s 1pm on Saturday, you haven’t collected my tree yet!?

Our collection teams will be out all day on both Friday and Saturday and have a large area to cover, so may not get to you in the morning. Don’t worry though, it doesn’t mean we’ve forgotten about you. However, if your tree is still outside at 1pm on Saturday, please message the phone number in your reminder email just letting us know your tree’s still outside, so on the off chance we’ve already been passed and missed you, we can come back!

When does my tree need to be outside by?

Christmas trees need to be completely bare and in a visible, unobstructed place by 7am on Friday 9th January. Our collection teams start early and if they come round and can’t find your tree, we may not be able to return later.

Only £7?! How can I donate more?

We’ve set up our system so you can donate any amount, with a minimum donation of £7. This means those who are able to donate more, can, and those who can’t, don’t need to. Whatever your donation, we’re grateful for your support!

Can I help?

Yes! The collection runs on an incredible team of volunteers and we’re always looking for more. The more volunteers we have, the less each has to do and the more trees we can collect. There are many ways you can help out, and not all involve lugging trees around, so please get in touch.

I have a van/trailer I can donate use of for the day!

Great, please get in touch! We run our collection with the incredible support and generosity of local people and businesses and we’re always grateful to expand our team so we can reach more people and raise more money to support Horsham Scouts!
